DESCRIPTION:The Rand Hunt Club is delighted to extend a special invitation to members of the LROC to join a Hunt on Sunday\, 15 March 2026\, at Inanda Country Base.\nThe Rand Hunt Club runs a drag pack\, meaning the hounds follow a pre-laid scent trail. The “line” is created by a mounted rider dragging a cloth soaked in a\nspecially prepared scent — no live hunting takes place\, nothing is chased\, and nothing is caught.\nThe LROC convoy will form part of the car followers\, travelling along a designated route that offers a unique opportunity to watch the hounds work\nand to enjoy the action out in the field.\nCost:\n- R200 per vehicle (donation)\, which goes directly toward the care and upkeep of the hounds.\n- Optional bring-and-braai after the hunt: fires and side dishes provided by the Rand Hunt at R50 per person.\nJoin us for a memorable day with the hounds and experience the tradition\, excitement\, and hospitality of the Rand Hunt Club.
